We exist to answer this simple question.
all the Christians in our neighborhood quit identifying themselves as members of a specific church and instead saw themselves as members of the body of Christ?
we loved each other deeply and authentically?
together we went out and loved the lost in our neighborhood?
Jesus was right when He said that ALL the world would know we are Christians if we loved each other?
the same thing happened where we work or go to school?
it happened in clubs, meet-ups, and community organizations?
we quit trying to build our church and instead trusted Jesus to build His church? What if we all followed His command to make disciples?
we take seriously the call to be the body of Christ in our neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, and wherever we find ourselves?
God is calling us to quit promoting our manmade religions and build the army of God?
of Seventh-day Adventists
Not just a church but a movement. We are:
a family without walls,
reflecting God’s character,
and bringing hope, healing and transformation to our community.
What We are about:
Our goal isn’t to build a huge church, but to bring about a huge transformation in our city. We will do this by catalyzing Christians from all denominations to work together one neighborhood or interest group at a time. We organize groups of 20-40 people which we call ‘crews’. Each group gathers regularly to learn to be family for each other while also working together to make some corner of the world a better place.
Coastal Christian Fellowship has our own worship service, and if you don’t have a church home we would love to have you join us. However, we are also looking for Christians who already have great church homes to partner with us in their neighborhood or interest group to advance God’s kingdom.
Love is the driving force of everything we do.
We emphasize freedom in Christ and intimacy with Him.
We are an Inclusive group and we do two primary things:
1) We make disciples of Jesus.
2) We serve in an immersive way -meaning we don’t help people at arm’s length, rather we immerse ourselves into their world.
We help people up close and personal; as a fellow traveler, and not as someone who has all the answers.
*We accepts the Bible as the infallible revelation of God’s will.
*The Bible is our only creed and guide of faith. (Which means we don’t have a list of beliefs you must adhere to in order to be a part of our fellowship.)
*We look forward to the soon return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
*We believe that God gave us the Sabbath as a day for rest and renewal.
*We are part of the world wide movement of Seventh-day Adventists
